How to use?

Here are the general steps to use a round bottom flask heating module:

1. Prepare the equipment :

Check that the round bottom flask heating module is in good condition and the power cord is intact. Select a suitable round bottom flask according to your experimental needs and make sure it is clean and dry.

Place the round bottom flask on the heating module. The heating module usually has a concave – shaped platform to fit the bottom of the flask to ensure good thermal contact.

Plug the power cord of the heating module into a suitable power outlet. Some heating modules may have a power switch, which should be turned on at this time.

 Most heating modules are equipped with a temperature control device. Set the desired temperature according to your experimental requirements. You can refer to the instructions of the heating module and the requirements of the specific experiment. Some advanced heating modules may also allow you to set the heating rate.

During the heating process, observe the temperature display of the heating module and the state of the reaction in the round bottom flask. If necessary, you can use a thermometer to measure the actual temperature of the liquid in the flask for calibration. Make sure that the heating process proceeds smoothly and there is no overheating or other abnormal situations.

After the experiment is completed, turn off the power of the heating module and let the round bottom flask cool naturally. Do not touch the heating module or the flask immediately to avoid burns. When the flask has cooled down, remove it from the heating module and clean the equipment according to the relevant regulations.
